Lisa Ling, Co-host of "The View"

From Sacramento and USC to war ravaged countries such as Afghanistan and a studio in New York, Lisa Ling has traveled around the world all before the age of 30. Now a co-host of the national morning talk and entertainment program, "The View," Lisa sits down with Bette Vasquez to reveal her recipe for success.

Lisa Ling broadcasting career began in Sacramento, as a host of Scratch, a nationally syndicated teen magazine show. At the age of 18 she became one of the youngest reporters for Channel One News, where she eventually became the senior war correspondent. Reporting from more than two-dozen war ravaged countries including Afghanistan and Iraq, Lisa gained valuable insight into their cultures. Now on The View Lisa brings that insight into the lively conversations with her co-hosts. As The Views' youngest host, Lisa is focused on bringing the twenty-something perspective to the program.
Among her personal achievements, Lisa recently completed the Boston Marathon, which raised funds for pediatric cancer. Currently she is working on a book that delves into her own family history. Named as one of Cosmopolitan magazines "Fun Fearless Females" Lisa continues to carve out new territory for herself leaving fans to wonder what's next?
