From a group of 30 developmentally disabled adults working in a church basement, to a competitive manufacturing company of 4,000 employees. Over 20 years Pride Industries has become a multi million dollar operation and the largest employer of people with disabilities in America!


The mission statement is simple: Create jobs for people with disabilities. President and CEO of PRIDE Industries Mike Ziegler is the man charged with keeping the company's mission statement alive. When Ziegler took the reigns in 1983, about 90% of Pride's revenue came from government subsidies and grants. Now 99% comes from sales for services rendered to companies such as Intel and the United States government.
