Toy Room Gallery

It's been described at Sacramento's most ambitious new art gallery. A converted old barn in an alley is home to the Toy Room Gallery -a place that displays the works of emerging artists at a reasonable price. In fact it's so affordable, you can find art from as cheap as 15 dollars to 300 dollars.

Jennifer Fischer interviews co-owners John Soldano and Craig Maclaine, who say art isn't just for the rich. Soldano describes Toy Room it as the "low brow" gallery in town where you'll discover comical, weird, and wonderful works of art. If you attend one of their monthly shows, watch out for John & Craig, as they like to liven up the party by ridding around the gallery on old bicycles.
