domestic disputes to attacks on the street, every woman would love
to know just what to do to protect themselves in a dangerous situation.
That is the driving force behind Capitol City Impact's Model Mugging
class in Rancho Cordova. It's a 5-week course that teaches women
the techniques they need to fight off a single unarmed assailant.
From eye strikes to just using your
voice, each technique is layered into
the body. Each woman is given the 
opportunity to put her moves to work against a "class mugger,"
which is a key element of the class. This element provides a safe
outlet for women to effectively learn how to use their bodies to
defend themselves without getting hurt in the process.
