Gardening Expert, Lance Walheim
Lance
Walheim joins host Bette Vasquez as they explore the best options
for Central Valley Gardens. From roses to flowers, trees, and
vines Lance explains what it takes to make your garden grow this
spring.
Walheim graduated from the University of California
at Berkeley in 1975 with a BA in Botany. He has authored or contributed
to over 30 gardening books published by IDG, Sunset, Ortho,
HPBooks and others. He was staff editor at Sunset magazine
from 1985 to 1990 and still regularly contributes to the magazine
as a free-lance writer. He served as contributing editor to the
10th 11th and 12th editions of the Sunset Western Garden Book.
His latest books include Citrus and The Natural Rose Gardener
published by Ironwood Press, and Roses For Dummies and
Lawn Care For Dummies published by IDG Books.
Lance
is currently the expert spokesperson for Bayer Advanced Lawn and
Garden Products and appears regularly on local and national TV
and radio shows.
