Glassblower Skip Huckaby
Forged in the white-hot flame of the acetylene torch, Skip Huckaby patiently melts and molds, stretches and shapes glass into creations that are as useful as they are unique. Skip is one of only three or four hundred scientific glassblowers in the world. At UC Davis, Skip works with chemistry and biology students and professors to design elaborate, one of a kind glass beakers and other complex apparatus for testing chemicals and compounds to make key discoveries that may someday save lives.

Sonoma Racing School

We visit the Infineon in Sonoma for a spin with Jim Russell Racing Drivers School that gives racing enthusiasts the chance to gain real-life racing skills from professional racecar drivers. The Russell Test Drive Course gives first-time drivers more than three hours of racing fun in real formula racecars and teaches participants racing maneuvers such as heel and toe downshifting and threshold braking.

Film Director Joe Carnahan
Sacramentan Joe Carnahan began his career at a TV station in northern California before going on to freelance for ESPN and Fox Sports Network. He made "Blood Guts Bullets & Octane" as his first feature film, which screened at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival, bringing him attention from major networks and movie stars. His other projects include "NARC", released with backing from Tom Cruise, and "A Walk Among the Tombstones" with Harrison Ford.
