Miller's Hall
Miller's Hall in Knights Ferry opened in 1862 as a saloon and brothel. Folks like Lee Shearer and Carol Davis now dress up in costume and give school children tours of the museum upstairs. A creamery, Bath Shop, Artist's studio and a tiny post office also call Miller's Hall home.

Sacramento Youth Hostel
This 1885 Victorian mansion was constructed by Llewellyn Williams for only $16,000 and has been moved three times. Now back at its original location, it is close to Amtrak, Greyhound, Old Sacramento, the State Capitol, Sutter's Fort, and the Indian Museum.
