Dennis Price is a recently retired elementary school teacher who has spent the last thirty years in the Gold Rush regions of Amador, El Dorado and Calaveras Counties. He loved teaching Gold Rush History to my students, and it has been a natural progression to continue sharing his knowledge of local and regional history with others on these tours.
Dennis says, the more we learn about history and the environment the more comfortable we become with our surroundings, and our place in it.

His mission is to promote authentic historical and environmental awareness to everyone visiting or living in Amador County.
